Lincolnshire’s Young Musicians Shine on National Stage
Lincolnshire’s most promising young musicians took centre stage this week at the Music for Youth National Festival, delivering standout performances that earned national recognition and local pride.
Over the course of three days, talented ensembles from across the county — including Boston Music Centre, the Lincoln Youth Cello Ensemble, St George’s Academy Session Band, Ashen Band, and State of Mind — showcased their musical excellence in front of enthusiastic audiences and industry professionals.
The Music for Youth National Festival is part of the UK’s largest youth music initiative, engaging over 30,000 young performers annually. The festival follows a series of regional events and provides young musicians with the opportunity to perform in professional settings and receive expert feedback.
