We are an award-winning service with the aim of bringing music to children in an accessible way thanks to part-funding by the Department For Education. The Lincolnshire Music Service is the lead organisation of the Lincolnshire Music Education Hub.

With the help of our experienced tutors and approved partners, we can deliver high-quality, inclusive and fun music opportunities to thousands of Lincolnshire pupils every year. We are the go-to organisation for music education across the county.

Love Life, Love Music

Our aim is to deliver inspirational, high-quality musical opportunities to children and young people across the whole county! Because of this, Lincolnshire Music Service makes it our mission to create accessible opportunities for everyone to learn an instrument.

Over many years, we have remained ambitious and celebrate the very best music making locally in communities and schools as well as beyond, performing on some of the world’s finest stages.

We know the difference that a quality music education can have on young people, and we strive to achieve the following vision:

All children and young people should be able to learn to sing, play an instrument and create music together, and have the opportunity to progress their musical interests and talent, including into a professional creative career.

Achieving Our Vision

This will be achieved through three key aims. We will enable:

1. 1. Schools and other education settings to deliver high quality music education.
  2. CYP to further develop their musical interests and talent, including into employment.
  3. CYP to engage with a range of musical opportunities in and out of school.

The importance of a high-quality music education for all has never been more certain. Music is not just a skill and passion which will accompany many CYP into adulthood, but a fundamental part of life which must be nurtured.
