Lead Schools

The Lead School agenda, detailed within the National Plan for Music Education, is now an essential expectation for Music Education Hubs. It is hoped that Lead Schools in Lincolnshire will offer the necessary support and challenge to all schools across the county. In an effort to establish a sustainable Lead School model in Lincolnshire, the Lead Schools for Music Development group has been formed. This group comprises representatives from schools across the county, encompassing all sectors. Their primary objective is to collaborate with the Lincolnshire Music Education Hub (LMEH) to devise a comprehensive programme for schools and implement a competitive and transparent selection process that effectively addresses the specific needs of our local schools and music leaders. Information on the development of Lead Schools for Music within Lincolnshire will be shared in due course.
