Lincolnshire Cultural Education Partnership Launches Culture Collider Commissions to Boost Creative Opportunities for Young People
The Lincolnshire Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP) is proud to announce the launch of its new Culture Collider Commissions, an exciting funding opportunity designed to support community-based artists, arts organisations and schools in delivering innovative cultural projects for young people across the county.
The commissions aim to increase access to high-quality arts, creativity and cultural experiences, particularly for young people who may currently face barriers to participation. Through this initiative, LCEP is investing in fresh ideas that bring communities and education settings together, fostering creativity, learning, and collaboration.
This opportunity builds on the success of the recent countywide Culture Collider Conversations, where LCEP engaged directly with communities to understand the challenges they face in designing and delivering cultural programmes. Insights from these conversations have shaped the commissions, ensuring the funding responds directly to local needs.
Through the Culture Collider Commissions, LCEP hopes to:
- Expand the number and reach of creative opportunities available to young people across Lincolnshire
- Support organisations and practitioners to develop new approaches to working with schools and communities
- Encourage shared learning and collaboration between the arts and education sectors
- Strengthen the county’s cultural ecosystem through high-quality, accessible programming
The micro-investments have been made possible thanks to Arts Council England funding and represent the next phase in delivering LCEP’s strategic vision for cultural education in Lincolnshire.
