Award Winning Rapper Performs in Lincolnshire!
On Tuesday 4th March, hundreds of secondary students in South Holland were treated to a breathtaking stage show by the award-winning rapper Shao Dow. Known to rap in both English and Japanese, Shao is hard to define as just a regular artist. He constantly blurs the lines between anime, gaming, martial arts and his own music and has worked with icons such as Sean Schemmel (the voice of Goku – Dragon Ball Z) and featured on the first single from Tech N9ne’s ‘Asin9ne’ album. He was nominated for ‘Best Live Performer’ at The AIM Independent Music Awards 2022.
Shao Dow delivered a breathtaking performance, mixing skilful lyricism, infectious beats and Kung Fu creating an unforgettable experience. It was also followed by a bespoke workshop to targeted students interested in music as a potential career.
The event shone a light on the varied careers and opportunities available within the Music Industry which was supported by UK Music and funded by Arts Council England / Lincolnshire Music Education Hub.
