Join the UpRising Inclusive Choir – A Musical Community Without Barriers

The UpRising Inclusive Choir is a free, welcoming musical community for all young people up to the age of 25, with a special focus on empowering individuals with severe and profound learning disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to express themselves through music—no matter their ability.

We meet online every other Wednesday, creating a space where voices of all kinds are celebrated. Last term, we explored the beauty of the outdoors through our joyful rendition of “What a Wonderful World”, which we proudly featured in the latest national Soundabout choirs video compilation.

At UpRising choir, we focus on what people can do. We believe that individuals with learning disabilities, including autism, deserve lives filled with expression, passion, and joy. Through music and sound, we help our members connect, communicate, and feel the warmth of shared creativity.

Whether it’s through sounds, movements, instruments, or soundmakers, everyone has a unique way of sharing their voice—and we celebrate them all.
