Free Singing CPD Opportunity for Schools in South Holland
Lincolnshire Music Service is delighted to announce that booking is now open for the Royal Ballet and Opera Schools Sing CPD programme, taking place at the South Holland Centre, Spalding, on 17 November 2026.
This award-winning professional development opportunity is completely free to attend and is designed for teachers, music subject leaders, SEND practitioners and anyone involved in leading singing activities within educational settings.
Delivered by expert practitioners from the Royal Ballet and Opera, the training is suitable for those working across Key Stages 1–3 and SEND settings, offering practical and accessible approaches to teaching singing, regardless of previous musical experience or confidence levels.
Participants can expect a highly interactive and engaging session packed with classroom-ready ideas, including:
- Practical singing activities and techniques
- Simple, ready-to-use lesson plans
- Creative approaches to support pupil engagement
- Resources that can be implemented immediately
- Strategies that contribute to wellbeing, creativity and whole-school improvement
Whether you are an experienced music specialist or new to leading singing in the classroom, the training aims to build confidence and provide effective tools to enhance musical experiences for young people.
Exciting Performance Opportunity
As part of this programme, participating schools will also have the opportunity to be involved in a special singing event at the South Holland Centre in February 2027, giving pupils the chance to showcase their learning in a celebratory performance setting.
